About This Cause
WLEM is a non-profit organization dedicated to remembering and honoring WI law enforcement officers who are killed in the line of duty. WLEM built and maintains the WI Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial on the State Capitol grounds and host an annual Memorial Ceremony each May. WLEM also works with surviving family members, coworkers, agencies and communities who suffer a line of duty death. WLEM works closely with other organization that share our mission such as WI Concerns of Police Survivors (WICOPS) and WI Law Enforcement Death Response (LEDR) Team.
