Mission Statement
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area is to enrich & transform the lives of area youth, especially those who need us most.
About This Cause
The Club currently serves over 2,500 members in grades K-12 at our four locations five days per week, plus an additional 5,500 youth through our community outreach initiatives. The Club provides programming to members focused on academic success, good character & leadership and healthy lifestyles for just $20 annually per member, although the cost of our organization is nearly $500 per child. Healthy after school snacks and dinner are served free of charge daily (breakfast and lunch on non-school days).
