Mission Statement
IN THE SPIRIT AND METHOD OF SS. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA AND OSCAR ROMERO, AND MOTIVATED BY THE INTEGRATION OF FAITH AND JUSTICE, WE ACCOMPANY INDIVIDUALS ALONG THE PATH TOWARDS INSIGHT, LIBERATION AND SERVICE. Vision: TO FORM STRONG, LOVING & WISE LEADERS, FROM THE CITY -- COMMITTED TO RENEWING SOCIETY.
About This Cause
We accompany, or "walk with", people on society's margins, particularly Latinx individuals -- by offering a safe space for people to heal, share and discover how they feel called to bring hope and healing to this world. We do this by means of retreats and programs led by "near-peers" from the community. We serve about 2000 individuals each year, about 80 percent of whom are youth (10-18).
