Kathy's House is a hospital guest house committed to providing affordable lodging and caring support in a "home away from home" environment for patients and their families who need to travel to Milwaukee to access medical care.
About This Cause
Kathy's House is here for families when they need it the most, during a medical crisis. Since 2001 we've helped more than 18,000 out-of-town patients and their families to access medical care in Milwaukee. Research has found that patients who have family nearby have better outcomes. Kathy's House accepts referral from all Milwaukee area hospitals, for patients of all ages. Kathy's House provides: 36 individual guest suites with private bath & tv, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, Wi-fi, library, family rooms and a hospital shuttle. The average length of stay is 14 days; some guests stay just one night, some several months. 80% of patient guests are being treated for cancer.
