Mission Statement
Vinland National Center enables individuals with multiple disabilities to live productive and fulfilling lives through a whole-person approach that addresses the mind, body and spirit. Vinland’s programs include behavioral health services with a focus on substance abuse for people with cognitive disabilities, mental health, and supportive housing.
About This Cause
Since 1990, Vinland Center has been providing drug and alcohol addiction treatment for individuals with brain injuries and cognitive impairments. Our highly trained staff can meet the needs of individuals with substance addictions, mental health issues, and cognitive impairments. Vinland has developed a strong national reputation for providing top-quality integrative services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries, mental illness, learning disabilities, and/or other cognitive disabilities. It is well-known that a comprehensive approach like Vinland’s benefits individuals who have been unsuccessful in other treatment settings. Our integrated treatment model provides conventional treatment services along with a wide variety of complementary care services like therapeutic exercise, nutrition, mental health education, and recreational activities.
