Mission Statement

Miss Laura Baker founded her residential school in 1897, dedicated to the idea that people with developmental disabilities could thrive as educated, contributing members of society. Miss Baker's vision continues to guide our mission: To respect the life choices and dreams of people with developmental disabilities and help them reach their goals.

About This Cause

We provide: *Intermediate-care residential services at our Oak Street Campus * Supported living and in-home services across the Northfield community * Family Support and respite services * Art & Music Therapy * The Laura Baker School for students ages 5-22
