Mission Statement
We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home homeless pets. We also educate pet owners and participate in programs designed to help people keep their pets rather than surrendering them to a shelter or rescue. We advocate and follow a no-kill philosophy.
About This Cause
Animal Ark's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home homeless pets following a no-kill philosophy. We educate the public on the care of their pets and where to get low cost spay/neuters and vaccinations. We provide emergency dog and cat food. Our staff is small and is supported by a network of dedicated volunteers. We also have a system of fosters who take in animals too young or traumatized to do well in a shelter setting. We are a 501(c)(3) charity recognized by the federal government and we adhere to all federal and state laws.
