Mission Statement
The Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud presents the finest in live chamber music performance and fosters enjoyment and appreciation of chamber music in Central Minnesota.
About This Cause
The Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud presents an annual series of concerts by top-quality professional ensembles, including established internationally known groups as well as younger emerging groups. Each year, at least two of these groups give two free Family Concerts, and many of them spend several days in the St. Cloud area, playing at schools, after-school programs such as the Boys & Girls Club, and organizations such as Whitney Senior Center and the St. Cloud Veterans Health Care Center. Special events provide opportunities for local musicians to learn from the professionals, and in some cases, to make music with them. The Chamber Music Society was the first recipient of the St. Cloud Arts Commission’s Arts Award in 2000, and was one of two national recipients of Chamber Music America’s CMAcclaim Award in 2008.
