Mission Statement
Rochester Community and Technical College Foundation improves lives with support of quality, affordable, accessible higher education. The Foundation exists to influence the quality of student programs at RCTC. Through active campaigns to promote philanthropy, the RCTC Foundation aims to grow a diverse pool of resources to provide affordable education for all students, add value and excellence to the programs offered at RCTC, and help insulate the institution from future economic and political forces that impact on state funding. The Foundation believes that no one should be turned away from RCTC due to an inability to pay tuition.
About This Cause
The RCTC Foundation strives to support RCTC and its students in 5 distinct ways: 1) Scholarships 2) Support for student basic needs (including a food pantry, emergency fund, and mental health counseling) 3) Support for academic excellence (including investment in programs, equipment and teaching) 4) Support for championship athletics, and a vibrant campus community life. 5) Strategic investment to meet the on-going and changing needs of the college, and to leverage funding opportunities.
