About This Cause
A 501(c)(3) public charity and supporting organization of Glencoe Regional Health in Minnesota, the Foundation was formed in 1988 and supports Glencoe Regional Health, a healthcare organization that operates a primary-care clinic, 25-bed critical access hospital, 108-bed skilled nursing facility, and 40-unit independent senior housing complex in Glencoe, as well as outpatient clinics in Stewart and Lester Prairie. To date, Glencoe Regional Health Foundation has invested over $1.3 million for projects at GRH, including the Prairie Trail Walking Path, Wound Care Center and security consulting, and for equipment like 3D Mammography Equipment and Emergency Room Ultrasound System. Glencoe Regional Health Foundation also invests in local students to build the healthcare workforce in our backyard through our Sanken-Hatz Scholarship Program. Since starting this program, we have supported 418 students with scholarships totaling nearly $1 million! Finally, to fulfill our mission, we also award grants for health and safety projects benefiting our community by partnering with local organizations, including fire departments, schools, nonprofits, and more.
