Mission Statement
Since 1992 St. Mary's Health Clinics has provided FREE, primary health care to low income, uninsured persons in the 7-county metropolitan area of St. Paul & Minneapolis. Volunteer physicians, nurses, interpreters, admitting personnel and drivers staff 13 clinic sessions at 7 sites each week in spaces donated by area churches, schools and health care providers. On average, over 95% of donated funds go to direct patient care. Through collaborative agreements with area health care providers, St. Mary's Health Clinics are able to provide quality health care to an individual for a full year for approximately $250, including access to specialty care, medications, and hospitalization. St. Mary's Health Clinics staff can also assist patients accessing various government health care programs and assist them in navigating the new insurance exchanges.
