Mission Statement
A service that delivers a nutritious, well balanced meal 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, to residents within the city of Hutchinson, MN.
About This Cause
Meals are prepared by Nutrition Services at Hutchinson Health. Special diets may be obtained. These meals are delivered by volunteer drivers between 11:15 and 12:00 noon each day, Monday through Friday. People who may obtain this service are: Convalescents who might be discharged from the hospital earlier if meals are provided in their home; A physically handicapped person; A person who, because of age, feels that he or she cannot purchase and prepare adequate meals for themselves. There is no restriction as to income, age, or religion. Meals are provided within the Hutchinson city limits. Delivery is a volunteer service. Cost for the meals is paid by the recipient. A confidential evaluation can be done by McLeod County Social Services to determine if a recipient can receive a reduced rate.
