Our Vision To be recognized and trusted by families living across the spectrum of autism and other IDD as a premier center for family resources and individual life enrichment. Our Mission Autism Cares Foundation strives to enhance the lives of those living with disabilities through enriching experiences, helpful resources, and building supports. We specialize in supporting families and communities. About This Cause
The Autism Cares Foundation differentiates itself from other organizations raising funds for autism and IDD, as our funds will provide direct benefit to the children, teens and adults afflicted with autism and IDD, helping to improve their lives today and their future. Some Activities Provided: 200+ Activities and Programs per year Since its inception, Autism Cares Foundation has provided fun-filled recreational activities minimum charge in Bucks County, Montgomery County and Philadelphia for children, teens and adults with autism/IDD and their families including: * Holiday Parties: Halloween, Christmas/Hanukkah • Trampoline Parks • Bowling • Physical Fitness Activities * Swimming • Social Activities & Dances . Proms and Formal Dances • life skills development • “Glee Club” music events • Family Movies • Arts & Crafts • networking opportunities for parents • Specialized Teen and Young Adult * Workshops & Social Events *PEP (Personal Enrichment Program) over 21 - this program is geared towards less needed individuals and more independent. * Day habilitation program for over 21 *Home & Community Services Our Future: A Center Tomorrow While we’ve already accomplished so much, we still have a long way to go. Our vision is to develop a comprehensive Autism Resources Center, serving Bucks County and surrounding areas. A permanent place of our own will allow us to schedule more activities. The Center will also be a place where families can find local resources to fit their specific needs. We envision this Center as a place that people on the autism spectrum can eventually call home ... a safe, loving place where the children we now serve can live and thrive when their primary care takers can no longer take care of them.
