About This Cause
Girl Scouts is the largest girl-led organization in the world with more than 2 million girls nationwide and 15,000 girls in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. The Girl Scout program provides girls of varying backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to build their confidence, gain new skills, and change the world. And the 5,000 volunteers in Iowa and Illinois make it all happen! By focusing the Girl Scout program on the core initiatives of Entrepreneurship, Outdoors, Life Skills, and Leadership, girls will become self-sufficient, courageous, and ready to tackle what’s ahead.
