About This Cause
Hospice, Serving Davis and Wapello Counties, provides care designed to give supportive assistance to people with a terminal illness and focus on comfort and quality of life, rather than cure. The goal is to enable patients to be comfortable and free of pain, so that they live each day as fully as possible. A team of health care professionals and volunteers provides the care. The Hospice team provides medical, psychological, and spiritual support. The goal of the care is to help individuals who are in the final phase of terminal illness have peace, comfort, and dignity.
