Jericho Road Community Health Center provides wholistic healthcare for the underserved and marginalized communities in Buffalo and across the world in order to demonstrate the unconditional love of Jesus.
About This Cause
Jericho Road Community Health Center provides high-quality medical care and supportive community programs in Buffalo, NY. The organization also operates health centers in the developing world. MEDICAL CARE Jericho Road provides high-quality medical care for the whole family - especially for people with limited access to care, like families living in poverty, refugees, and immigrants. We provide full-spectrum care to all, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. In FY 2018-2019, we treated more than 20,000 patients. COMMUNITY PROGRAMS Jericho Road has developed a wide array of community development programs, seeking to address the needs of those we serve more holistically. We engage a very diverse staff that aptly represents the ethnicities we serve, forming a bridge of trust within Buffalo's ethnic communities. GLOBAL WORK Jericho Road's global health outreach programs tangibly demonstrate the love of God by addressing health disparities in the home countries of our refugee patients. Started in 2015 in the Kono District of Sierra Leone, our global health programs now operate at four sites in three countries (Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Nepal). In 2019, our global health programs delivered over 1,000 babies.
