Mission Statement
The mission of the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA) is to optimize outcomes for individuals with oral cleft and craniofacial conditions through education, support, research, advocacy, and interdisciplinary team care. The former Cleft Palate Foundation merged with ACPA in June 2017 and its important work now continues as ACPA Family Resources.

Services: Providing comprehensive information to educate patients, families, and professionals Making referrals to cleft/craniofacial treatment teams Educating parents and healthcare professionals on how to feed an infant with a cleft Funding research to learn all we can about prevention and care Hosting the Annual Meeting for healthcare providers Providing Cleft Courage Bears with repaired cleft lips Advocating for family-centered team care Awarding scholarships to healthcare professionals each year Awarding college scholarships each year to young adults affected by cleft and craniofacial birth defects
