Mission Statement

The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City is to reduce the burden of childhood illness on children and their families by providing a home away from home while children receive medical care in local hospitals.

About This Cause

RMHC-KC serves 91 families every night with three Houses and Family Rooms inside Children's Mercy Hospital and Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Families with ill and injured children come "home" to comfortable beds, hot showers, home-cooked meals, and friendly faces. We also provide a comforting environment of love and support, which is especially important during times of childhood illness and family crisis.
