About This Cause
The Nodaway County Senior Center provides meals to age 60 and above residents of Nodaway County. We furnish a hot, balanced, nutritious meal five days a week and also provide frozen meals to be used for evenings, weekends, holidays, or in case of inclement weather. Our Angel Program is a restricted account that can only be used for senior citizens who can not afford their meals. We provide daily an average of 103 home delivered meals and a daily average of 62 meals here in the center. We also provide at the center a place for seniors to receive physical fitness programs, health programs, recreation activities, social activities, Medicare counseling, tax assistance, elderly low income referrals to other community resources.
