About This Cause
The Funeral Consumers Alliance of Greater Kansas City is an affiliate of the national Funeral Consumers Alliance, but is a separately incorporated Missouri 501c3 charitable organization. Our primary purpose, as stated in our Mission Statement, is to provide information to families seeking information about how to prepare for funerals, what services are available in the Kansas City metro area, and what prices are charges. To meet those goals we perform a detailed semi-annual price survey of all 113 Kansas City area funeral homes and make the results available through printed materials and on our website. We also conduct educational programs and provide speakers for presentations at churches, social service organizations, libraries, etc.
