About This Cause
Discovery Center is a non-profit science center located in the heart of Downtown Springfield, MO featuring over 60,000sqft of hands-on exhibits explaining the science behind our world. Discovery Center has several programs that go beyond the scope of a normal science center including virtual and distance outreaches to bring STEM education to students all over the world, a private Pre-K-12th STEM school dedicated to fostering a love of learning and meeting students where they're at, and several inclusive access programs including our summer work study program teaching disabled youth the skills needed to join the workforce.
