Mission Statement
To provide lifetime care for felines, regardless of age or medical condition, in a cage-free environment with lots of room to roam and climb, and an abundance of human love and attention.
About This Cause
Clowder House offers lifetime care for your feline companion(s) when you are no longer able to do so for whatever reason. Most of our resident cats come to us as a result of a death in the family or the owner/guardian moving into a nursing home. Cats also come to us because of a new baby in the family, a change in housing or some other major event. As a result, most of our cats are 10 plus years of age, but we also rescue kittens and strays that show up on our doorstep or in the yards of our volunteers. Rescue cats are available for adoption, but the majority of our cats stay with us for the remainder of their lives. We accept cats of any age and medical condition, and we will do our best to provide them with a healthy, happy cage-free life with lots of love, attention and toys. We are currently housing 280 cats, and we are all volunteers. All donations go to the care of the cats and maintenance of the facility.
