The Salt Fork YMCA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
About This Cause
The Y commits to: • Academic Performance Help children reach their full potential by providing quality educational opportunities and experiences during out-of-school time. • Chronic Disease Prevention Combat chronic diseases like obesity, hypertension and Type 2 diabetes by promoting prevention and providing health education, wellness classes and partnerships. • Water Safety Make families safer around the water by providing swim lesson instruction and parent education in an effort to reduce drowning deaths and save lives.
