Mission Statement

The EnTeam mission is to encourage educators -- including parents -- to use collaborative games that strengthen students socially and academically.

About This Cause

Envision educators who create learning events in which students succeed by helping each other improve. Imagine teams from different schools competing against problems rather than competing against each other. You are envisioning the EnTeam Games in action. EnTeam Games strengthen social and academic skills. EnTeam Organization serves learning organizations by providing games that keep score of improvements in cooperation. The ultimate purpose is to build more productive and respectful communities. The measure of success is whether players develop a well-balanced understanding of winning and losing both ways: win-lose as well as win-win / lose-lose. The reason for keeping score of improvements in cooperation is to provide an objective standard of excellence in collaboration among teams. EnTeam Games are freely available to educators online: www.enteam.org EnTeam Games empower youth and educators to work together, develop communication skills, and cooperate with diverse individuals. Players lose together -- or win together -- depending on whether they can improve their scores each time they play. Vision Statement The EnTeam vision is to create more productive and peaceful communities by learning to win together with those who come from different backgrounds and cultures. Mission Statement The EnTeam mission is to encourage educators to use collaborative games that strengthen students socially and academically. The opponents in these games are not the players on the other teams. The teams work together to overcome the limitations of time, ignorance, disease, fear, injustice, frustration, poverty, or other impersonal adversaries. If the teams cannot improve their performance each time they play, both teams lose.
