Mission Statement
The Friends of the MS Achievement Center's mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with progressed Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by supporting the MS Achievement Center at KU.
About This Cause
We accomplish our mission by: • Raising critical funds to ensure excellent staffing and programming of the MS Achievement Center • Advocating for the needs of the MS Achievement Center and its members • Engaging passionate volunteers to support the MS Achievement Center through donations and volunteer service The MS Achievement Center at KU provides a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation, emotional support, social activities and health education for its members and their families. The program helps participants optimize their functional ability, move toward acceptance of their limitations, and take charge of their own lives. Our goal is for our individuals with MS to live to their fullest potential.
