The River Music Experience transforms lives in the Quad Cities by providing opportunities to LISTEN to, LEARN about, and PLAY music.
About This Cause
RME provides educational programming and live music performances to the Quad Cities region. These financially accessible opportunities are open to all. Most education programs are provided to schools and students for no charge. Live performances give local musicians an opportunity to share their art and build audiences, while regional and national touring acts bring new energy to our music scene. Our facility in the Redstone Building in downtown Davenport serves as a cornerstone of the downtown's economic revitalization, generating more than $2 million in economic impact each year. Our community music programs reach more than 40,000 people each year, and continue to grow at a rapid pace. With new expansions into online and broadcast opportunities, the 16-year-old organization is impacting more lives than ever.
