The United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Area's mission is to provide opportunities for our neighbors to thrive through our Live, Work & Learn programs and initiatives.
About This Cause
Since 1957, United Way has been investing in local programs focused on providing our neighbors with opportunities to thrive within the Greater Grand Forks Area. Our goal is to improve community members' quality of life through our Live, Work, & Learn programs. Over the past two years, United Way has transitioned to providing direct services to low-income families. We have developed six programs including Families First, The Backpack Program, Kidz Closet, and Wheels for Work. These programs ensure families and children in the Grand Forks Area have access to food, shelter, clothing, and transportation
