Mission Statement
Sundog Theatre, Inc. is a performing arts organization offering professional theatre productions, a touring company that travels regionally, theatre classes for young people, and arts-in-education programs that supplement classroom curricula through theatre, dance, music, and visual arts. Our offices are based in Staten Island, New York. And we get around – our performance spaces are located in various theaters, schools, parks, churches, colleges, museums, zoos, and cultural centers.
About This Cause
Sundog’s arts-in-education programs began with one school in Staten Island in 2004 and have expanded to serve over 100 schools with approximately 1,100 arts programs in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, and literacy. These programs support core school curriculum and help make learning come alive. Nearly 70,000 school age children and adults benefit from our programs annually.
