Mission Statement
Founded in 2010, UsAgainstAlzheimer’s is a disruptive advocacy and research organization working to expand treatments and accelerate a cure for Alzheimer’s disease, the only top-ten cause of death in the United States with no known current treatment or cure. Powered by personal experiences and the suffering of millions of families, we press for greater urgency from government, industry, and the scientific community to intervene in diagnosis and treatment earlier, include communities of color disproportionately affected by the disease, and focus on what matters most to people living with the disease and their caregivers. Through effective leadership, collaboration across industries and countries, advocacy, and strategic investments, we are fighting not only for a cure but for an optimal system of brain health.
About This Cause
UsAgainstAlzheimer’s exists to conquer Alzheimer’s disease. We take on the toughest problems as we bring all of “Us” together to break down barriers to equitable brain health; advocate for research that will speed treatments to market; and drive changes that matter most to people living with the disease. The unquestionable complexity of this challenge to stop Alzheimer’s fuels our determination to overcome it. Our work is driven by the urgency to find effective treatments and the prevention steps needed to reach the time where no one is lost to Alzheimer’s.
