Mission Statement
To reach in and mine the incredible potential we believe lies within the lives of at-risk youth, the homeless, and the needy families of our community by restoring hope and allowing them to dream again.
About This Cause
Founded in 2006, the Phoenix Dream Center is a trauma-informed, volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides outreach assistance to over 40,000 individuals each month and life recovery housing program services to over 1,100 people each year. We’re on a mission to find a need and fill it, find a hurt and heal it. Many of the people we serve have been enslaved by human trafficking, have struggled in the foster care system, or have been burdened by a life of addiction. We offer a wide array of classes, counseling, therapy, life skills training, career development and mentoring - completely free of charge. In addition, each week we conduct over 120 community-based outreaches in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area to provide food, resources, and the opportunity to come into one of our Programs. You can find us on street corners, in parks, jails, prisons, nursing homes, and on Native American reservations as we reach the areas of our community that are truly forgotten. Our vision is to become an inner-city resource that will help distribute hope to the homeless, food to the hungry, clothes to the naked, and restoration to the broken.
