Mission Statement
Labs and More is a non-profit, volunteer-run dog rescue based in Southern California. Our Mission: "We will rescue large dogs of all breeds both young and old and even the smaller breeds as we can. We provide medical care, emotional support and training needs for the dogs we save. We focus on saving dogs who otherwise have no chance at life. Dogs suffering in the worst of situations, dogs needing life saving medical care, and especially senior dogs finding themselves homeless at their most vulnerable time in life. Partnering with our Community is top of mind as we support Animal Shelters, Veterinarian Hospitals, Trainers, and other professionals in San Diego County. We are committed to providing information on dog ownership for the families who provide forever families for our dogs. We rescue for Need not for Breed.
About This Cause
Labs and More is a Non Profit Volunteer Organization who receives no private funding but relies solely on private donations. Committed to the well being of Dogs in and around our local communities Labs and More has been saving dogs for over 11 years with over 14,800 dogs saved. Each year thousands of dogs will find refuge in the arms of a Volunteer with our Rescue. Our Volunteers drive hundreds of miles to help dogs struggling to survive. Dogs left behind trying to survive on the streets, pregnant, injured, and starving are those we make a priority to save. We visit remote underserved shelters to rescue dogs and to deliver needed supplies when we have enough to share. We have a complete and thorough Adoption Application process. Each of our dogs deserves a committed and approved new Family. All our Dogs are spayed, neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any medical needs, microchipped, and they receive appropriate medical tests prior to being adopted. We are a group of Volunteers committed to helping dogs and puppies who have found themselves in the worst of conditions. Our group receives no private funding and we survive solely on donations from generous people like you. Thank you for your kind donation to Labs and More Rescue!
