Mission Statement
Tajik American Association (TAA) is a New York based non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 2009 by a group of Tajiks to provide service to Tajik community in New York and nearby states. The organization aims to inform and educate Tajiks and Americans about various opportunities, changes and developments in the USA. TAA organizes events and activities to celebrate and preserve Tajik identity, and to contribute to social diversity of the United States. To achieve these goals TAA organizes educational seminars, workshops, lectures and various cultural programs. TAA strives to strengthen friendship bonds within the Tajik-American community as well as to establish close relations and foster cooperation with other communities in the United States.
