Mission Statement
Justice and Soul empowers survivors of sex trafficking, and those at risk, to become confident and self-sufficient individuals through professional training in cosmetology.
About This Cause
Employing our expertise in the beauty industry, we provide hope and restoration through vocational training in cosmetology (hair, makeup, nails and skin care) to survivors of sex-trafficking or those at risk of being trafficked. With these new skills and increased self confidence, sex-trafficking survivors will be able to earn a sustainable living to keep them from returning to trafficking for survival. We have a salon and academy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We are currently testing a cosmetology apprentice program in WA State with plans to open our own salon to train survivors, and those at risk of being trafficked, within the next year.
