Mission Statement
Simply put, doing good feels good! Dollar Per Month is an awesome web-based charitable foundation whose members donate a minimum of $1/month or more through the organization’s website at www.dollarpermonth.org. Donations from around the world are pooled and divided among three new charities each month. The charities presented on the DPM™ website have all been strictly vetted so that DPM™ members can be confident that each charity runs as efficiently as possible. Every month members vote for their favorite charity and the money is then allocated at 50%, 30% and 20%, so each of the three charities benefits! Members are given the opportunity to learn about and support a diverse array of causes including the environment, animal rights, children's rights, human trafficking, disease prevention, hunger, education and more. Past recipients of Dollar Per Month support include organizations like Doctors Without Borders, Shared Hope International, Little Kids Rock, American Humane Association and many more!

Dollar Per Month.org was founded on the idea that if we all care and give a little, together we can change the world. Our goal was to create an organization with three primary objectives: 1. Dollar Per Month was created so that people would be INSPIRED and reminded on a regular basis that change for the better can happen in the world if we ALL care and make giving a little of ourselves a focus in our day-to-day lives. 2. Reward the best of the best non-profits through substantial awareness of their cause to a new community of potential advocates and through financial support; those organizations who are actually making the world a better place for all of us and who are running their organizations with the utmost integrity. 3. Create a mechanism through which non-profits are motivated to truly focus on creating real change and embrace financial responsibility within their own organizations with the goal of receiving support from the Dollar Per Month™ community. The non-profit organizations that Dollar Per Month supports appreciate DPM™ because they are allowed a platform to build awareness of their mission and are guaranteed a donation.
