About This Cause
New Classrooms has been at the forefront of the effort to bring competency-based learning to schools by building tools to support personalized acceleration and by advocating for policies that allow schools to meet individual student needs. Our Teach to One Roadmaps learning solution reimagines how teachers, students, and curriculum interact so that teachers can provide an individualized learning experience for middle and high school students. An all-digital learning tool, Roadmaps helps students achieve grade-level proficiency by providing a tailored, assessment-based learning path. Using state-of-the-art algorithms and advanced psychometric techniques, Roadmaps’ unique approach enables students to learn targeted pre-grade, on-grade, and post-grade skills so they can master foundational concepts at their own pace and advance when they are ready. Skills included in the individualized roadmap may extend to those taught as early as the 2nd grade and go up to those taught in Algebra. Roadmaps makes math learning more visible and actionable for educators, allowing teachers to effectively close students’ knowledge gaps and help accelerate their learning.
