Mission Statement
The WunderGlo Foundation will not rest until there is a cure for colon cancer. The Foundation strives to save lives and support cancer warriors everywhere by raising funds for colon cancer research, promoting awareness about prevention of and treatment for colon cancer, and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. Through its efforts, the WunderGlo Foundation seeks to empower and inspire those fighting the disease and those finding ways to eradicate it.
About This Cause
The WunderGlo Foundation raises funds to support cutting edge research that will lead to the cure of CRC with the foundation's capital campaign, The Wunder Porject. The foundation holds events all over the country to raise both funding and awareness that supports CRC patients and their families. The Foundation is also establishing Reiki and Guided Meditation programs that will be offered at USC Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2015. Ostomy Awareness and patient support through volunteer advocates are also in the program preparation stages. On December 8, 2014, the Gloria Borges WunderGlo presented a $500,000 check to Dr. Heinz-Josef Lenz and USC Comprehensive Cancer Center towards research for the cure outlined in The Wunder Project that is led by Dr. Heinz-Josef Lenz.
