About This Cause
Humane Society of East TN is a no kill animal center run solely on donations and by volunteers. Our center is dedicated to finding homes for homeless and unwanted pets by screening potential adopters through vet references and personal references when necessary. All pets are adopted as indoor pets only and are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, declared healthy by our veterinarian and are microchipped prior to adoption. Our center also dedicates time to education on the necessity of spay/neuter, good veterinary care and responsible pet ownership.
