Mission Statement
The Life of a Single Mom exists to improve the lives of single mothers and their children by providing support groups, life skills, and projects that promote success in 3 core areas: Parenting, Finances, and Health & Wellness.
About This Cause
The Life of a Single Mom is a national, U.S.-based nonprofit that works to establish single mom support groups in churches and community centers that include: peer-based mentoring, life skills education, prayer, encouragement, and networking. The focus of each group is in long-term solutions to meet the needs of single mothers who sometimes lack the support needed to thrive. Additional services include case management to qualifying single mothers, events throughout the U.S., online education with over 175 courses in varying single mom-centric areas, boot camp intensives for at-risk single moms, prison ministry for incarcerated single mothers, and varying educational workshops.
