About This Cause
Mercury One is a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 2011 by media personality, entrepreneur, and New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck. It was created to inspire the world in the same way the United States’ space program shaped America’s national destiny by setting a goal and committing to reach it against all odds. The only limitations to achievement are those we place on ourselves, and we believe in the goodness and power of the individual to overcome any obstacle. Mercury One is not an ordinary organization. We stand to restore the human spirit through programs to advance skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for individuals and communities to help themselves. We also assist our nation’s veterans, provide aid to those in crisis, and rebuild and restore the lives of Christians and other persecuted religious minorities. When evil prevails, we believe the best way to overcome it is by doing good. Mercury One is committed to taking action through humanitarian aid and educational initiatives. We will stand, speak, and act with those in need when no one else will. Together, we can make a difference; it’s up to us to turn the tide. Join us on our journey.
