About This Cause
Tomorrow’s Leaders NYC’s (TLNYC) mission is to help over-age students overcome social, emotional, and academic challenges so they can complete their education and become positive and productive leaders of their community. An over-age student is generally classified as one who has been left back in school two or more times. TLNYC focuses our support on the most vulnerable and underserved communities in New York City (NYC)’s Bronx, Brooklyn and Queen’s public schools, serving over 2,500 students during and after school. MS (2,000) and HS (500). Students participate in: Academic Support: Homework Help, Tutoring Social/Emotional Learning and Leadership Development Vocational Prep: Mentorships, Internships Youth-Led Civic Engagement Projects Family Engagement
