Mission Statement
In Pursuit of G.R.A.C.E. is an animal advocacy and community outreach organization. We are volunteers from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Some of our volunteers have worked in animal rescue and some just love animals. We all have a common ground, which is a passion for helping others; both human and animal.
About This Cause
In Pursuit of Grace is a 501 C 3 Non-Profit Organization. We are an animal based community outreach organization. We pride ourselves on being an all-volunteer run organization based out of Lackawanna County. Our goal is to keep animals out of shelters and rescues thus lowering overpopulation and euthanasia in our animal community. We pride ourselves on Helping Pet owners become examples not statistics since 2011. In Pursuit of Grace offers several different services and programs to the community to benefit the animal community. Some programs are our Operation G.R.A.C.E. is our pet food bank that allows us to assist pet owners facing financial hardship and allows us to help people fostering animals for other rescues and shelters by providing them with pet supplies and food. Our Feline Assistance Program / TNR Program helps lower the feline population for both domestic and feral cats. We help with low cost spaying and neutering options and vaccinations. The Feline assistance program allows these cats to live out healthy and happy lives while helping control the population. We provide pet rehoming options, education, animal cruelty consultations and so much more. These are just some of the programs we offer to the community through our organization. We fill the gaps where other rescues and shelters cannot. Our efforts to save and protect our animal community each year can't take effect unless we have the support of everyone in our community. In Pursuit of Grace realizes that offering these programs have reduced the number of animals surrendered to shelters and rescues. We recognize the need for another shelter in Lackawanna County. In Pursuit of Grace wants to be that shelter. We have taken on many responsibilities of the animal community and acknowledge the need for more. We want to be the shelter that people can trust.
