About This Cause
We are a Christian charity that works alongside coffee farmers in South East Asia. We use coffee as a fund-raising vehicle and also give farmers an outlet to sell their coffee. Using the funds generated from our coffee sales we are able to give rural coffee famers access to new technology and model sustainable development. Many of these farmers are trapped in a cycle of poverty due to economic systems put in place to keep them poor. Without being able to afford processing equipment or have other options to sell their coffee to, they are often paid pennies on the dollar and forced to take out loans. We help bridge the gap for these farmers and provide access to basic processing equipment and technology so that they can take pride and ownership of their coffee.
