Mission Statement
Beverly's PGH, formerly Beverly's Birthdays, mission is to celebrate and strengthen families. Our organization is passionate about ensuring that every child and family in our community has access to the support and resources they need to thrive. Our three divisions, Birthdays, Babies, and Basics, are here to provide that support with compassion and care. We believe in building on families' strengths and empowering them to thrive. By working together, we can create a brighter future for our community, where every family feels loved, supported, and valued.
About This Cause
Our founder, Megs Yunn, was tutoring a young girl named Beverly, who comes from a difficult home life, and she shared with Megs that she had never had her own birthday party or even her own slice of birthday cake. Megs was inspired by this story and created Beverly’s Birthdays in her honor. Now, in 2025, the organization has rebranded as Beverly's PGH, and through our three divisions, Birthdays, Babies, and Basics, we serve as a resource provider for 35,000 children in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
