Mission Statement
Our 1st mission is education. To inform the public about the Heroic, Faithful & Gallant Performance that K9s have exhibited while serving with the United States Military in the past and present times. To provide support and assistance in anyway possible to our Military Working Dogs (MWD), our Police and Law Enforcement K9s, Search and Rescue Dog Teams and their Handlers. To provide assistance and support for retired MWD and the adoption program. We will be expanding our mission and objective to include working with and possibly supplying service dogs for Veterans.
About This Cause
Let me first say that NO funds are used for salaries or payroll. This is a 100% non-profit and 100% volunteer corporation. All funds donated to our Chapter are used strictly towards the objectives, our mission and purpose of this Corporation. As with any business, we have insurance, office supplies, website and advertising expenses. However, over 80% of our funds are used to purchase equipment, supplies or items wanted or needed for our K9s and their handlers. We have also used funds for the transportation of K9s. We have donated monies to help Law Enforcements agencies and other organizations with the purchase of a newly trained K9 to replace a retired K9 or one killed while performing their duties. To Honor and keep the memories alive of the K9s that have served their community, State or this Great Nation, we have donated to the construction or establishment of a Memorial dedicated to these Heroic Dogs. In the very near future, we are planning to explore ways that we can become more involved with Service Dog programs for our Veterans.
