Mission Statement
Gracious Hands Transitional Housing for Homeless Women and Children mission is to work with homeless/displace mothers in Mecklenburg County, Charlotte,North Carolina and surrounding areas. To positively Impact each family while building relationships inthe community , with organizations /churches and businesses to improve the homelessness in our area.
About This Cause
We house women and their children for one year , while the women are here they are able to save and repair their credit and find jobs paying at least $15 dollars an hour , saving at least $5000 dollars before transitioning ,with their credit repaired, We have served over 250 women and their children and have successfully transitioned out over 75%in 6years. We are super proud of one of our moms that has saved $10,000 dollars and repaired her credit score from 303 to 747, working full-time and just purchased her very own home.
