Mission Statement

WINGS OF HOPE for Pancreatic Cancer Research was founded in 2012 by Maureen Shul after losing her brother and mother within months of one another to pancreatic cancer. Forming a partnership with the University of Colorado Cancer Center, WINGS OF HOPE gives every dollar raised to the University of Colorado Cancer Center for pancreatic cancer research. In 2017 WINGS OF HOPE began its annual research grant process, providing funding to selected pancreatic cancer research projects that has led to national grants and clinical trials. By the end of 2023, this all volunteer organization will have donated over $2,000,000 to the University of Colorado Cancer Center for pancreatic cancer research.

WINGS OF HOPE for Pancreatic Cancer Research raises awareness and funding for pancreatic cancer research at the University of Colorado Cancer Center. Every dollar donated to WINGS OF HOPE goes directly toward this purpose.
