Mission Statement

Our mission is to design, create, implement and sustain a year-round, local food system in the greater Hamilton, Ohio and metropolitan area. This includes growing, processing, and distributing organic, locally grown food; as well as educating the citizens of Butler County on the health benefits of a sustainable local food system. Additionally, we are working with several Local schools to teach students about where their food comes from, healthy eating habits and self sufficiency through gardening practices. We are building an outdoor school based garden program at New Miami School District.

About This Cause

Our nonprofit organization operates a community garden that grows organic vegetables, and fruits. We donate this fresh locally grown produce to area residents, as well as food pantries and community meal centers that feed people in need. We have volunteers that give of their time and energy to make this effort possible. There are no paid staff members with this nonprofit organization. We are all like minded, faithful volunteers that care about our community and giving back. Our vision is for every man, woman and child in Hamilton, Ohio, and the surrounding communities to have access to nutritional food, gardening information, fresh produce and their associated benefits, as well as the opportunity to grow their own food in a private or community garden plot. We are building access to fresh produce, one community at a time.
