Mission Statement
Friends for Global Change, Inc. is an organization created by a group of friends that focuses on identifying communities in various locations around the world who are in need of humanitarian assistance. By pooling resources, we aim to collect goods and funds from our local communities and redistribute them to those who demonstrate genuine need.
About This Cause
Friends For Global Changes has been working with multiple communities throughout the US, Nepal, Haiti and Colombia since 2012. The majority of our projects support children's education, focusing in communities who are severely impoverished, and assistance after natural disasters. Since 2012, Friends For Global Change has built a school in rural Nepal, has adopted and supported multiple orphanages throughout Nepal, Haiti and the US, has bought a home for someone who lost everything during Hurricane Irma, and has collected and distributed over 5,000 lbs. of clothing, educational materials, hygiene products, and food. Friends For Global Change is run 100% by volunteers who all have full time day jobs. All of the projects we support bring volunteers together who can help in their own ways (financially, time, or other resources). Our projects have brought together several thousand volunteers from around the world since 2012 to assist in different capacities. Friends For Global Change is in the process of increasing it's presence in the communities it currently supports by adding new projects and partnerships that assist those who need it most.
