Mission Statement
The Foundation to Restore Equality and Education in Syria (FREE-Syria) was established to ease the suffering of Syrians who are trapped in the crossfire between the Assad regime and other forces who oppose freedom, dignity, and democracy. Since March 2011, the regime has perpetrated human rights abuses of historic proportions.
About This Cause
FREE-Syria's immediate focus is to provide much-needed humanitarian relief. Our long-term focus is to implement sustainable projects that promote equality and education in Syria, with particular regard for children’s psychological needs and women’s empowerment. FREE-Syria stands out as an organization that does not charge administrative fees on humanitarian assistance; we send 100% of your tax-deductible contribution to donor-specified campaigns.
