Mission Statement
Providing temporary housing and medical care to unwanted Italian Greyhound dogs throughout the United States.
About This Cause
We provide shelter to Italian Greyhound dogs who are in need of homes for reasons beyond their control. Many dogs come from owners who no longer want them, or have come across changes in their life which do not allow them to have pets any longer (move, divorce, death, etc). We also work with local humane societies to reduce the number of Italian Greyhound in their shelters by placing them in our foster homes, screening homes to ensure they are prepared for this breed, and finally spay or neuter all dogs we place to help keep the pet population under control. We are an all-volunteer organization, without any paid staff which allows over 99% of your donations to benefit the dogs.
